of Cast Iron hot tinned The Victoria Tortilla Press has been constructed of rugged long life cast iron. It is carefully machined and polished to guaranty a very smooth surface. In order to avoid any food contamination, is coated with a thick plate of pure tin. The Victoria Tortilla Press is a manual press used mainly in the preparation of tortillas. However, it can also be used to prepare empanadas and patacones of banano or platanut. Before using the Victoria Tortilla Press for the first time, remove all labels, then clean it in hot soapy water to remove the coating applied at the factory. |
